Last weekend we went to an Autumn Fair in the Botanical Garden of Kerkrade, a nearby town.
I've been meaning to visit the garden before, as they also have a Spring Fair, Christmas Fair and an English Fair.
The garden is not that large but very nice, with beautiful old trees, a pond, a greenhouse and works of art scattered around the garden. I read that it was established in the 1930's paid for by the Dutch State Mines (we had a lot of coal mines in this area in the first part of last century). After visiting the garden we decided to return next spring to see everything bloom.
