{pottery barn}

Pottery Barn's site is off limits to non US visitors. A while ago I found a way to visit the site anyway, I installed Hot Spot Shield. checks your IP address, blocking it when you are a non-US visitor.
Hot Spot Shield gives you a US IP address. Unfortunately PB took action agains Hot Spot Shield, is off limits again.

I did however find out that their Middle East site can be visited. The site is pretty bare, but there is a catalog there that can be viewed. I also found out that is no longer available AND that PB hired a company specialized in global e-commerce  (scroll to the bottom of the page).

So, what does this mean....

I dunno... ;-)

Here are some photo's from the catalogue on their .me site.

Take care,

  3. I don't understand this at all.
    I can see a company deciding not to ship internationally... but to not even be able to view their site?? Weird.

  4. I can get into their site from the UK and they ship - for a massive cost - here too. How unfair you can't see them, that's so short sighted of them :(( Oh and I've tagged you at mine xx

  5. Awesome post, thanks a lot for sharing this with us!
