First I would like to thank those who left a comment on my previous post. I love it that you still are with me AND that you always seem to find the right words to comfort me.

Now on the something completely different.

Do you like new developments on the internet?  I do!

The other day I read a blog where a new social network called Newsgrape was mentioned.
It made me curious so I visited the site to see what it is all about.

What is Newsgrape? Now let me see if I can get this right.
Newsgrape is a library, a news stand, a blogging facility, a rss reader, a magazine, a community for writers and readers. It is a platform to enables you to publish your articles like you would on a blog. You can also create your own collection of articles and build a magazine of your own. For personal use, for a small group or for all the world to read. The site will be in English and German to start with, articles can be published in 24 languages.

Newsgrape was developed by two young students, Leo from Germany and Felix from Austria.

Right now they are in a pre-launch state. They are trying to raise funds to invest into servers. Their goal is $ 12.500 on January 14th. You can back them, if they don't reach their goal it doesn't cost you anything.I like the idea very much, so I backed them with a modest amount. If Newsgrape is launched I have access before everybody else does.

Go take a look, maybe you like the idea. Of cause you don't have to back them, I am not asking you. You can wait until the site is  launched officially... or not.

Oh yes, and while you are there visit this thank you song for the first 84 pledges.
I am there at 4 min 44sec. I just hope Felix is better at developing ideas then at singing.

Take care,
