{Some like it hot}

Some don’t (me included LOL)

Over here it is very hot, today it was 34 degrees C (93 F.) I’m not sure if this officially is heat wave, but it sure feels like it. Typing this I am suddenly reminded of the winter, that never seemed to pass. Is it only a couple of months ago? For a long period we didn’t have much of a winter and our summers were not much either. I like the fact that the seasons have returned, but I don’t like extremes. Well,  enough complaining …

Last week I made these pics not far from my home.

We (my collegues and I) had a lovely breakfast underneath a giant willow tree.

Wouldn’t you like to live here, I do <sigh>.

There aren’t much windmills in this area. Most of them can be found in the West/North of the Netherlands. Those were mainly used to keep our tiny country dry. The mills here were used to process grain into flower.

These cows know what to do when it is hot.  Find the shade and do very little.

Have a nice weekend!
