I discovered the BPS last September when it was too late to enlist. When I read there was a waitinglist I asked Lori to put me on it.
On old year’s eve I received an e-mail from Lori at The Benevolent Postcard Society that there was an opening, did I want to participate. YES I did...
Now what is BPS? Members of BPS send a postcard each month to another member. Each month it is a different person. You send a home made card or a ready made card. I really liked the idea. I love receiving postcards from other coutries (who doesn’t).
I might even attempt to make some postcards myself LOL
If you like the idea you can ask Lori to put you on the waiting list or try an alternative like Postcrossing. It is basically the same idea, just on a much larger scale. I tried it (because BPD was full) and really like it. I will certainly continue using Postcrossing.
I received this card fromVanessa from the UK in the beginning of this month.
Have a nice weekend!
